About Bonitasoft

The Bonita software project was co-founded in 2001 by Miguel Valdés Faura, a computer science engineer at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA). In 2009, Miguel joined up with colleagues Charles Souillard and Rodrigue Le Gall to found Bonitasoft.

Since then the company has enjoyed strong growth in open source downloads (more than 3 million), customer acquisition (more than 1000 in 60+ countries), and internal development (from 10 to 150+ employees of more than 20 nationalities in Paris, Grenoble, New York and San Francisco).

Miguel Valdés-Faura

As Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, Miguel leads the charge in Bonitasoft’s mission: to democratize Business Process Management (BPM), bringing powerful and affordable BPM to organizations and projects of all sizes.
Prior to Bonitasoft, Miguel led R&D, pre-sales and support for the BPM division of Bull Information Systems, a major European systems provider. Miguel is a recognized thought-leader in business process management and passionate about open source community building.

Charles Souillard, Bonitasoft CTO
Charles Souillard

As VP of Engineering and CTO, co-founder, Charles leads the Bonitasoft product development organization. He was previously head of the Bonita core development team within Bull Information Systems.
Charles has significant experience developing mission critical applications with BPM and SOA technologies. He serves on a number of European Community projects.
Charles holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Polytech de Grenoble.

Jean-Luc Solans, Chief Strategy Officer
Jean-Luc Solans

As Chief Operating Officer, Jean-Luc works closely with the CEO on Bonitasoft's strategy definition and execution. He leads Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to accelerate Bonitasoft's rapid growth. A 20-year enterprise software industry expert, Jean-Luc had successful tenures as VP Strategy and Business Development at Talend and before that held several executive positions with Hyperion in sales, competitive Intelligence and product marketing in the U.S. and Europe. Jean-Luc holds a M.B.A. from IPAG-Paris.

François Chevresson, Director of Global Professional Services
François Chevresson

As Director of Global Professional Services, François oversees the successful delivery of Bonitasoft BPM projects worldwide. His experience with Bonita BPM started 5 years ago as a user and promoter of Bonita Open Solution v5 during his tenure as Head of Development at Bull Coriolis. He joined the company in 2011, bringing 15 years of professional experience in software development, system integration and architecture.
François holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Electronics from Polytech Paris.

Olivier Poissonnier, Chief Financial Officer
Olivier Poissonnier

As Chief Financial Officer, Olivier leads the finance, administrative, human resources and IT organizations. Before joining Bonitasoft, he worked for 15 years as a CFO and controller on-demand, providing operational, strategic and financial consulting to several companies such as Talend in the San Francisco Bay Area. He started his career as a financial auditor and tax specialist for Constantin Associates.
Olivier holds an MBA from ESSEC.
