As Miguel mentioned in a previous post, we took the opportunity of the release of Bonita Open Solution 5.0 to inaugurate a new way of communicating: a live webcast. This first BonitaDay web-event was successful beyond our expectations as more than a hundred people attended it. Many people have asked us to access the record of this event to review it - or simply view it, as some were not abe to attend.
So to satisfy our audience, and as Rodrigue had also produced nice video tutorials and demos, we’ve packaged all our video material, than done a little bit of screen-design and tadam! … Now ladies and gentlemen, we’re happy to launch the BonitaSoft TV on Youtube – http://www.youtube.com/BonitaSoft !
Keep an eye on this channel as we will update it on a regular basis…
By the way, I’ve forgotten to introduce myself as it is my first post on this blog: I’m Jeremy Lipp and I’ve joined BonitaSoft a few weeks ago as Marketing Manager, for better … and better!
We did it! Bonita Open Solution 5.0 is now available to download. This is a key milestone into the BPM democratization process initiated last year with the creation of BonitaSoft company.
This new solution was unveiled during a live web event hold last January 26th. I would like to thank our +100 guests from France, US, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Argentina and Venezuela that attended to this live meeting. For those of you that missed this event, we are about to publish a recorded version of it.
Together with this GA release, we just released a 5 minute video illustrating the main features included in Bonita Open Solution 5.0. Enjoy it!

A couple of days ago IBM announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Lombardi. In the press release covering this announcement, Rod Favaron, CEO of Lombardi, said:
Our shared vision has been to deliver technology that helps companies improve their effectiveness by better managing the processes that keep their businesses running. Becoming part of the IBM family will take this vision to a higher level and enable us to explore new opportunities together in product development, integration and go-to-market strategies.
Well, everybody knows both IBM and Lombardi business models, actually is the same: selling proprietary software at premium prices to customers! on that particular point companies merging should be easy
I’m just back to France after one week of meetings in San Francisco area. That was indeed a great week for BonitaSoft and confirms the momentun that Bonita Open Solution has gathered since the release of the preview version.
BonitaSoft is buidling a strong ecosystem in the US. More than 20% of Bonita Open Solution downloads comes from the US, big customers has already been signed even before the release of the 5.0 version, good media coverage, major technology partnerships about to be closed… so it was the right time to schedule some meetings in the US.
I’m really excited to announce today the release of Bonita Open Solution M5. This version is the last milestone before the release of Bonita Open Solution v5 (in a couple of weeks from now!).
While this version is a milestone it includes three major features that we wanted to bring you before the 5.0 release:
Rodrigue Le Gall has started a trilogy of posts in the community blog in which he explain in details each one of those features. He started by the new connectors creation wizard.
We love to hear from you so don’t hesitate to provide your feedback and comments on those features on the BPM community, actually your community!
