Announcing Bonita Open Solution 5.1: improved usability, connectivity and flexibility!

We are pleased to announce Bonita Open Solution 5.1. With this intermediate release of Bonita Open Solution, we are happy to take another step towards greater connectivity and usability.

New features in this version include:

  • BPMN files can now be imported in Bonita Studio
  • Contributed connectors can be downloaded and installed directly from Bonita Studio (see video below) and a Test Connector wizard now helps you test your connectors
  • Form customization has also been made easier thanks to a copy/past feature and the possibility to add navigation in forms (next|previous)
  • Bonita User Experience has also benefited from the care of our R&D team: Users can now select their own language settings, add comments on steps or pick a user from the list when assigning a task.

Back from Solutions Linux Show

BonitaSoft exhibited last week at Solutions Linux trade show in Paris, one of the major Open Source event in Europe. Our team shared a booth in the OW2 village with two of our main partners, Talend, the leading data integration company and JasperSoft, the famous editor of Jasper BI suite.

This three-day event was very productive as we welcomed more than 800 guests on our booth and showed the benefits and ease-of-use of Bonita Open Solution to a large attendance who participated in our demo sessions – sometimes in a very cool and funny atmosphere!

BPM Redux review: What makes the difference? The Community of course…

Theo Priestley from BPM Redux, one of the trend-setting blog in the BPM field, recently reviewed Bonita Open Solution. I could have posted here Theo’s (very) positive words describing the nice features that can be found in Bonita Open Solution, like easy connectivity to existing systems or straightforward web form edition, but this is not my point today.

Talend integrates Bonita Open Solution in Talend MDM Enterprise Edition to help businesses manage and automate their data quality, MDM and data stewardship processes

Talend, the recognized leader in open source data integration solutions, announced today a strategic OEM partnership with BonitaSoft, the leading vendor of open source business process management solutions (BPMS). As part of this agreement, Talend will integrate Bonita Open Solution, the BonitaSoft BPM solution, as OEM in its Talend MDM Enterprise Edition product.
