In June, BonitaSoft marks our first anniversary. And at the same time, we’ll be releasing Bonita Open Solution 5.2 – at one year old we’re already racing forward in our roadmap as we meet another major milestone. This release includes loads of new features* and a new professional service line.

BonitaSoft exhibited last week at Solutions Linux trade show in Paris, one of the major Open Source event in Europe. Our team shared a booth in the OW2 village with two of our main partners, Talend, the leading data integration company and JasperSoft, the famous editor of Jasper BI suite.
This three-day event was very productive as we welcomed more than 800 guests on our booth and showed the benefits and ease-of-use of Bonita Open Solution to a large attendance who participated in our demo sessions – sometimes in a very cool and funny atmosphere!
It’s been a month since the release of Bonita Open Solution 5. A month in which YOU (Bonita community, users and partners) have been downloading, using, providing feedback about and making contributions for this version.
Now we’d like to share some interesting figures:
Bonita Open Solution 5 has been downloaded more than 25,000 times from 200 countries. This is an amazing statistic for a BPM solution (and only one month after its release).
The BonitaSoft open source community is organizing in the coming days two “Behing the scenes, meet Bonita Open Solution developers” webcasts – one in French, one in English – to introduce some cases studies using Bonita Open Solution and answer questions from community members.

As Miguel mentioned in a previous post, we took the opportunity of the release of Bonita Open Solution 5.0 to inaugurate a new way of communicating: a live webcast. This first BonitaDay web-event was successful beyond our expectations as more than a hundred people attended it. Many people have asked us to access the record of this event to review it - or simply view it, as some were not abe to attend.
So to satisfy our audience, and as Rodrigue had also produced nice video tutorials and demos, we’ve packaged all our video material, than done a little bit of screen-design and tadam! … Now ladies and gentlemen, we’re happy to launch the BonitaSoft TV on Youtube – http://www.youtube.com/BonitaSoft !

By the way, I’ve forgotten to introduce myself as it is my first post on this blog: I’m Jeremy Lipp and I’ve joined BonitaSoft a few weeks ago as Marketing Manager, for better … and better!
We did it! Bonita Open Solution 5.0 is now available to download. This is a key milestone into the BPM democratization process initiated last year with the creation of BonitaSoft company.
This new solution was unveiled during a live web event hold last January 26th. I would like to thank our +100 guests from France, US, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Argentina and Venezuela that attended to this live meeting. For those of you that missed this event, we are about to publish a recorded version of it.
Together with this GA release, we just released a 5 minute video illustrating the main features included in Bonita Open Solution 5.0. Enjoy it!
