I’m just back to France after one week of meetings in San Francisco area. That was indeed a great week for BonitaSoft and confirms the momentun that Bonita Open Solution has gathered since the release of the preview version.
BonitaSoft is buidling a strong ecosystem in the US. More than 20% of Bonita Open Solution downloads comes from the US, big customers has already been signed even before the release of the 5.0 version, good media coverage, major technology partnerships about to be closed… so it was the right time to schedule some meetings in the US.
Meetings with partners was one of my first priorities last week. In order to foster our relationships with other open source leading providers I met with Talend, JasperSoft and SugarCRM among others. I would like to thank Bertrand Diard (CEO of Talend), Brian Gentile (CEO of JasperSoft) and Larry Augustin (CEO of SugarCRM) and their teams for the great discussions.
Partnership with those major actors is really important for BonitaSoft because this is the best way to consolidate and promote technical collaboration between open source projects. Those partnerships provides a great value for end users and customers.
Together with the release of Bonita Open Solution 5.0, we will provide native connectivity with Talend, JasperSoft and SugarCRM but also with other open source leading vendors such, eXo Platform, Alfresco, OpenBravo…
Through native connectivity to others open source providers, Bonita Open Solution users could easily generate a BI report, execute a ETL job, store a document in a document repository, create a new account or a new opportunity in a CRM or still synchronise with ERPs operations from a BPM process. Nice right ?
In the next couple of week we will provide detailed information about those products integration as well as about partnerships so stay tuned, specially if you are already levereging those open source projects.
Miguel
