Bonita & UiPath, BPM & RPA technologies as a new joint force

There's a difference between Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

While both technologies deal with automation and both are being increasingly used in digital transformation projects, one cannot serve as a substitute for the other.

It is easy to understand the confusion. The two methodologies are highly complementary, but have very distinct purposes and scope. A strong impact is achieved when both technologies are deployed simultaneously.

To gain market advantage in today’s highly competitive landscape, organizations are increasingly seeking solutions to help them expedite operational processes, increase agility and deliver greater value to customers. By partnering with UiPath, Bonitasoft will enable clients to complete routine tasks – including administrative duties, workflow and multi-level approvals – with optimal agility. By delegating these processes to a virtual digital workforce of software robots, company employees will be able to focus on more strategic, creative and customer-facing initiatives.

Forrester Research has projected that the robotic process automation market, while only $250 million in 2016, will grow to $2.9 billion in 2021. However, buying companies are sometimes inclined to jump straight to RPA as a solution when in fact they need a more holistic approach to automation, such as business process management, or BPM.

Pierrick Voulet, Bonitasoft Tech Evangelist, and David Marcus, VP Product & Alliance Management at UiPath,  will display in this recorded webinar the similarities and differences between BPM and RPA and demonstrate Bonita and UiPath integration.
