About Our Special Guest

Thomas Allweyer is a Process Management specialist and a Professor of Enterprise Modeling at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences in Germany. He holds an engineer’s degree from the University of Stuttgart and a doctorate from the Saarland University, Saarbrücken.

Before he became a professor, he worked as a product manager and consultant for a software vendor, and as a process manager for a procurement platform provider. Thomas has published many papers and several books, among them a bestseller introduction to BPMN, the standard for business process modelling.
